The year in four prices
Brisbane runs mild all year, so the real difference is events season. These are typical starting rates for a Deluxe River King.
Festival season
Peak demand around Christmas and New Year. Book 6+ weeks out for river-facing rooms.
The sweet spot
Warm evenings, lower occupancy. The best rates of the year usually land here.
Event season
Conference calendar fills weekdays. Weekends stay reasonable, weekdays book out.
Riverfire season
Spring racing and Riverfire weekends sell the top floors first.

No surprise line items
They quoted one number and that is what the card got charged. After years of hotel "extras", that alone was worth the booking.
Money questions
What the invoice looks like before it becomes one.
No. We hold a preferred-rate agreement with the property, so our quotes match or undercut the public rate. If you find the same room and terms cheaper within 24 hours, we match it.
Quoted rates include GST. The only extras that can appear are parking ($45–69), breakfast if not bundled ($42 per person) and incidentals you choose on property.
Flexible rates are charged at checkout by the hotel. Advance purchase and package rates are charged at booking time. We never store card details; payment runs through the hotel's own system.
Only Riverfire weekend and New Year's Eve are excluded. Every other date is bookable, though Friday and Saturday availability is tighter than weekdays.
